Because they are in limited supply. Richard Garriott isn't making
a bunch of new copies, he's just assembling some from what he has
leftover after 20 years.

There is the original ComputerLand version ("the original 12"), two
California Pacific Computer versions, and now these versions Richard
Garriott is making from the original parts.

No, that one was *not* a Computerland edition. It was the same as
what is being sold, that is, an RG remake. If it had been one of the
original 12 it would have hit reserve, I have no doubt about that.

Which other one? The CPC one I bought ($670) or the only other RG
new old-stock ($250)?
