Mini-assembler in Apple ][+

Hey folks,

I was certain at some point in my old pre-assembler days
that I was using the mini-assembler in the monitor
of my ][+.  But, there was a trick to accessing it.  I believe
I read it somewhere.

Was it under Integer Basic that it had to be invoked or?

Can anyone recall?

And, I guess I'm in need of some really good references
for the monitor routines preferrably commented, and some
examples to boot.  Not asking too much, am I? :-)

I used to have What's Where in the Apple, but ended up
offloading it in the early 90's.  Wish I had it now.  But, what
it needed were more than just 1 line comments.
Can anyone recommend a place to get a copy?  I've looked
in the used book places via Bookfinder and have come up
empty.

Can a few of you that are long in the tooth with assembler
recommend either some of your best books, or URLs that
might help.  I've gotten a lot of the Peek/Poke lists, though
I've heard that the Beagle Bros. chart isn't accurate - is that
true?
