Re: low level format on a lisa?
I agree. We should ask the opinions of all the people here first. Since
it is group business it would be an on topic post. Who should make the
request? You, Paul, me, or someone else...
No Lisas. A bunch of GSs, and a couple of 68K Macs.

Well, those comments just outclassed me, good call. Obviously I'm more of the
casual reader and don't have nearly the experience or know-how in creating a
new
group. I'm on my way now to check on your notes. The biggest question that I
can think of, is "is there enough traffic to validate a Lisa or other group?"
If not, what is to be done with the people who have questions and answers? If
no new group is created, the most logical choice to ask a question still lies
here
because the good people of this group will not ignore the question.
On a final note: For all the complaining that we may do about Apple computers
inc.
not supporting the older equipment, at least the company is still around.
Imagine
how hard it is to find support for a product made by a company that is no
longer
in existance such as Atari or Commodore. At some point Apple is forced to say
"your on your own"... and that's why we are here.
Mike, since you have more knowledge on starting new groups, maybe you can start
the inquiry with the readers reguarding this issue. :) (I pass the buck well)
