Ah... IIgs monitors are small... and cheap... just splurge. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't one just look at the dates on the
computer.  example: if it says 1987, you've got a ROM 01.  If it says '89
you've got a ROM 03?  Or isn't this always true?
