I was scanning the FAQ and I saw some information on modifying DuoDisks 
to get them to work. This involved snipping capacitors or a resistor. 
Would this solve the problem or are there other issues? I may forego the 
DuoDisk but I am curious nonetheless :)

Thanks to everybody for the quick responses. I'm going to make a trip 
back to that thrift shop very soon. Hopefully the goods are still there 
:D
