Re: low level format on a lisa?

Just so those who think that I am posting a question in just any group, really
should understand how lucky they are that there is even a post for your II's.
While the ][+ has been my first and favorite machine, I also respect the
Apple's
History and have several machines in my collection including a Bell and Howell
and an Apple ///.  Before and after I made this request for HELP in the
comp.sys.apple2
news forum and made several attempts at other mac forums.  Due to the fact that
I got absolutely NO HELP from these other post sites, I took a shot that
apple2.sys
readers would be able to help understanding how important it is to keep these
machines going.  I use and answer questions as often as I can and try to
contribute
here as much as I have received help in the past.  If there had been an
appropriate
news group to ask about the Lisa I would have gone there and not started all
this
trouble.  We are all suppose to support one another with help and if someone
asks
a question reguarding a machine that maybe has a news group that can answer
their
question better, we send them to the correct group.  If there is no other group
available, then those that can, and do try to help.  Those that don't
understand
the true nature of the groups and try to push out people who don't have a group
to
post in, have forgotten what this is all about.  While we can argue is a Lisa a
mac or not, it is close enough to me that I asked for help where I thought I
would
get an answer.

Thank you to all who have tried to answer my question, and I apologize to those
who feel my question did not belong here.  Keep this in mind:  I got answers
from
this news group, whereas I got blank from comp.mac.sys!
