ADB modem problem...

I have a SupraExpress 144Plus modem on my GS that worked perfectly until
the other day when I plugged a faulty phone into the other input of the
modem. I didn't realize the phone was bad until my incoming calls
stopped (I can still call out).

Removing the modem from the line, my incoming calls work again so
something got burned out in the modem by the faulty phone. Attempting to
dial out with it results in 'NO DIALTONE'. Plugging a good phone in the
other input results in just a buzzing sound on the phone and no dialtone
either.

What was fried in the modem (RS-422) and can it be repaired? It's an ADB
modem meaning it gets its power from the ADB line on my GS keyboard and
plugs into the serial modem port with the other cable. Switching the
lines around didn't help.

Thanks...
