Re: I'm new to Apple II - What can I do?

It sounds like an Apple IIplus clone that is why you have a language
card installed. An Apple II+ came with 48k of ram and the language
card gave it the additional 16k of ram for the maximum 64k.

You will need to get a disk controller card and a disk drive
to make it useful. You can get them at a Thrift Store really cheap
or bid on them on eBay. Your machine would be from the early
80's since the Apple IIe came out in 1983 and that didn't require
a language card since it could be directly upgraded to 64k. Is
80 column card in a slot along the back of the machine or is
it on special card slot next to the power supply? I don't know
the clones well so I may be off here.
