Re: How much strain can a IIGS power supply handle?

I know Townsville as I was posted there for a couple of years. I got my GS
after I returned to Oakey which is hot and very dry. Left there after the 7 year
drought broke. The point here is all the electric motors that I brought with me
down here to Victoria all burnt out within a year except the Refrigerator [knock
on wood {several times} very heavily}.

Also I've had a couple of power supplies just burn up after the move. The
problem was moving from a hot dry climate to a moderate climate which get salt
water and far more moisture in a used condition. With the motors it was the wear
and tare on them but with the power supplies I suspect it to be more the salt
content.

Even with that added into (I forgot the internal fan also) it the IIGS power
supply is still going strong. I also suspect that being 240V the unit would have
to be stronger then a 115V supply as the input to the mother board is the same
but the intake is nearly double so the drop_down is far greater.
