1) Do you have the Appleshare control panel?
2) Does your Gatorbox emulate an Appleshare server? or
3) Do you have a Mac Appleshare server on the network?
On my network, it sees the name I supplied my Mac from the
IIgs and then it sees the "shared" volumes that I have on the
Mac. For instance, if I have a CD-ROM shared and my HD
shared it will see both volumes in the dialog box to connect
to Appleshare volume. Also, on a Mac, you have to have
Appleshare Filesharing turned on and have set up a directory
or HD to share. I don't know how your box will work.
