I'm also in Northern California and can second the fact that A2 pickings
are thin here. I've only made a couple of good scores locally in the
last two years--a IIegs and Woz IIgs.
Opposite of tossing them out, one thrift in the area charges a premium
even for common A2 items when they get them in; they had a //c with 9"
monitor for $40. Who knows, the way eBay is going that might be a
bargain.
