Hello.
Maybe if you describe exactly what's happening (or not happening) when
you turn on the IIe, the good people here can help you to repair it
yourself. It may be a very simple fix.
First remove all the cards (take anti-static precautions) then turn it
on; if it goes on suspect a shorted card. Very important: be sure to
turn the computer off when inserting/removing cards.
If that changes nothing check the power cord and the connector on the
IIe. If it's still not powering up at all, suspect a blown fuse. If that
isn't it try obtaining a known good power supply and swapping it.
I don't know about Hong Kong, but there are a couple places here in the
states that specifically repair A2 stuff. Most of us try to do it
ourselves since the cost of repair well exceeds the value of the
hardware.
