Hello,
I remember playing a game back on my IIGS called Ringquest. Not the
common game by Penguin. This one was based on Tolkien's Lord of the
Rings and you had to escape Moria. You navigated through a hi-res
graphics screen until you encountered a random creature such as a red
orc or balrog which were illustrated in ASCII. I think it was made in
the early 1980's for the Apple II.
