Sheppy said he had to balance quality vs bandwidth available for live
broadcast.   At least he captured it.  On top of that, we had to balance
the lighting of the presenters vs the computer projection washout.  

If you want real video, send Greg Nelson an e-mail about it.  He has it
all on Super-VHS and is supposed to be compiling the best stuff into a
video for posterity.  I'm not sure how far he has gotten, he too is very
