We are physically safe, but emotional well being is another thing. Our son woke us out of a sound sleep with the news. We are three hours later than the east coast. We live near an Air Force base that was very active during the Gulf war. We're on the flight path for incoming planes. We couldn't help but wonder if Travis would be a next target.
Planes were grounded there too. One went out last night. The news said it would, who was on it, why and where it might be headed. There were some planes flying over today. I was outside this afternoon and saw a white plane come in unescorted. I think we're still holding our breath.
