As more and more of the "Apple II usage" moves onto emulators,
running predominantly on Wintel PCs and Macs, I expect we'll
see an increase in the divergence of "de facto" Apple II standards
from the standards implemented in the real platforms.
I don't find it at all difficult to imagine that the Mac implementation of
NuLib has some "improvements" over the latest IIgs or //e implementation.
Many times it's just a real nuisance, like Macs "forking up" every file
they touch.
Too bad...I never really appreciated how emulators might work to the
detriment of the real thing. ;-(
