Patch for Appleworks 2.0 for Ramworks?

Until I'm using AppleWorks 3.0 well with AE Ramworks III (1MB) on my Apple
IIe.
It loads all of AWS 3.0 modules at once when booting.
But I read an article about the patch for AWS 2.0 to using RamWorks card in
an old magazine. As I know, AWS 2.0 works with RamWorks without patch.
Is it right?
