Apple File WebSite

Would there be an interest in a searchable website for Apple Files? What I
mean is cataloging the files on the FTP site into a searchable location.
This would not replace the FTP sites, but give a place to search for files
and provide the links to where those files are.  I don't know how many times
I see a file and then 1 month later I find out I actually need it.  It takes
me forever to find that file again. This site would provide detailed or
whatever there is description of the files, if they work, what they are for,
how to unpack them, etc..... Just a few ideas for the site. I would be
willing to host the site and provide the programming work for it.  I was
just wondering if there is a need.  I see a need for myself, but would
others use it or help to catalog the files?
