Old Game Question

I have been looking for a game that I remember playing for hours on Apple
IIc's when I was in elementary school. I can't for the life of me remember
the name, though, and I'd really like to know what it was. I'll try to
describe the game, and if it rings a bell with anyone, I would be endlessly
grateful if someone could tell me what they think it might have been. Feel
free to email me with any ideas!

The game was a sort of exploration / maze and puzzle solving game, where you
moved your character around levels filled with doors, switches, and worms
that would eat you if you touched them. One of the parts that I remember
best about the game was that if you got swallowed by a worm, you would end
up in it's stomach and would have to navigate through an annoying maze in
order to get out and back to where you were swallowed.

Most of the levels (which I think were supposed to be parts of a castle)
that came with the game involved running around and finding door keys,
triggering switches, the usual exploration game stuff. However, although
there was not a straightforward educational part that I can remember, there
was no actual violence in the game, nor a way to die. It was supposed to
teach logic and problem solving, probably.

The game also came with a map editor that would allow you to design your own
levels for others to play, or to save onto disk with your savegames. You
could add all the elements found in the regular levels (except, perhaps,
professional design) and then play through them.

The game had color support (if you had a color display) and some basic sound
effects.

I know this isn't a lot to work on, but if it happens to ring a bell with
anyone as something they've played at one point or another, please drop me a
line at frostxavier@hotmail.com. I'd love to run it on an emulator, just for
kicks.

Thanks so much,

Xfrost
