I agree with William, your 6.0.1 disk is suspect. Possibly just the file
"ProDOS" is corrupt. I have seen this happen on my own system when using
high density disks instead of the proper double density. Also you may have
dirty heads in the disk drive, cleaning them might fix the problem. Radio
Shack (Tandy in Oz) sell a 3.5"/5.25" disk cleaning kit that may help fix
the problem.
Try copying the suspect disk onto a blank DSDD disk using a disk copy
utility, that should pick up any errors, not necessarily fix, but find them.
Or as I suggested before you could run a Verify-Disk from Copy II+ on the
suspect disk to proove it.
