Hello. I recently acquired an Apple IIc +, and I am having trouble
figuring out how to download software from the net.
I have several Macintosh computers, and also a few NeXT's, and PC's...
but I primarily use a Mac G3 for internet use. I managed to download the
"System" disk from Apple's ftp site, which came via a disk image, and
create a 3.5 floppy which works. It boots up the IIc + fine, but I have
no other programs to play with, and I'm going crazy trying to figure out
how to download any of these files which are on the ftp sites. All I see
is code!!
Its unfortunate [for me] that none of the Apple II FAQ's seem to clearly
specify how to get the programs which will facilitate successful
downloading of these files. [.SHK/.SDK, etc...]
Thank you for reading, and your replies [hopefully]. Its ok to email me
directly, if this subject is of no interest to the group.
