Try this with your PC. You will need 8 hours for the SCSI card and
another 20 hours re-installing Windows 98, all your device drivers

Did that with an IDE drive under 95 a few years ago. The process was a little simpler but not much. Some friends and I found some used Mac stuff (hard drives, CD ROMs) in a local second hand computer shop. I might grab a CD and stick it on one of my Apples. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to configure everything.

OTOH, when I get around to configuring my CDRW under Linux, I should have a couple of hours of fun. Although the instructions are clear it looks like the updated OS already has most of the changes implemented. It should be easier than 98 but tougher than the GS.
