And that brings to mind one of my GS(s), a different recent thread, and a
observation: I have a GS ROM 03 with a Vulcan 20 hard drive on a Vulcan
card (earlier ROM, rev A?), a Focus drive with a 350meg IDE drive (the OTHER
recomended way to go!) and a CMS SCSI card (with the 1990 ROM, a clone
thereof; I Have 3 cards one of which was a 1990, now they all are) with 2
CMS 40 meg drives, a Rodime 20 and a I donno what it is 100.
It says right here: "Thou shalt not mix Focus and Vulcan"
but there is a way to get both on the same box: do not boot off EITHER!
I boot from the CMS drives!
As long as the CMS, Vulcan and Focus driver is loaded on the boot volume and
neither the Focus nor the Vulcan does the boot, it seems to work dandy.
