Not sure if it is the same company, but Berkley 
Systems, the publisher of After Dark and a few other
programs was bought up a couple of years ago.  I had
problems getting it to work on a Mac after I did a 
system software update and logged onto their web 
page, berksys.com, but it no longer links, so it must
be gone. I know it went to another site, the company
is located in the northeast or was.
