Re: The Apple ][ was cool!



The only "pure" 16 bit chip I know of is the TI 9900. 16 bit data and address
bus, 16 sets of 16 16 bit registers (though the "registers" were part of the
computer's 64K address space) so you could multitask (time splice) by
rotating through the 16 different sets of 16 16 bit registers.
