Pretty much the same way you do with the first floppy drive. To insert a
disk (e.g. a 5.25" .dsk disk image) you click on the Drive 2 button. You
will get a window where you can select a disk image file or navigate to a
folder which has the disk image you want.
With a few programs, you may need to have a disk in the second drive
when you start the program in order for AppleWin to allow the recognition of
the drive. At least some versions of Copy II Plus behave this way-- i.e. if
there is no disk in the second drive when the program starts, you will not be
able to work with any disk you may stick into the second drive later on.
Quite a few game programs make no use of Drive 2 even when an option to
use Drive 2 would help avoid swapping disks in Drive 1. Some games allow
using Drive 2 but expect you to press a special key a some point during game
startup. You may get a DRIVES (1/2)? or similar prompt; or, you may be
expected to know that you should press "D" (or "2" or whatever) at the intro
screen.
