My system met those specs, but I opted for PC MACLAN.

Maybe not the HP DW 550c, but the AppleTalk IW2 does work, and I suppose any
AppleTalk printer on the LocalTalk side.

The docs seem to indicate that you can share any networked printer on the PC
side that is Apple LaserWriter or Postscript compatable with all Mac's on
the LocalTalk side. Also any AppleTalk printer can be seen on the LocalTalk
side, but looks like it needs a widows driver as well.

no idea, but from memory, the LaserWriter driver is available on the GS.
