Right now I have one on my IIgs, following a standard 3.5 drive. You
definately notice the speed difference between the two when loading a
game like Test Drive II. As previously mentioned, it's much better just
to use standard 3.5 drives on it, since they are not slowed by a
processor. But on a //c or IIe they make a huge difference. (Until last
year I only used 5.25 on my //c.)
The UniDisk 3.5 does have a 65c02? I thought it was just a plain 6502.
How much RAM does it have anyway? (I've never taken one apart beyond the
case before. Don't want to unless I have to.)
