Re: sdk and sea files?

The Shrinkit.sea file - for use with the Apple IIgs
(as Mitch and Rubywand outlined in their other threads to this subject) is a
GS/OS application that contains a ShrinkIt self-extracting archive - thus the
name -> sea. It's not at all the same as is the sea file for use on the Mac
(which is also a self-extracting archive of a Mac application program or an
archive of multiple files, etc.).

If you can't get the IIgs sea file to launch and run for such self-extracting
needs of the contained archive, then ShrinkIt GS v1.1 can often be used to
double click on the sea file - to possibly allow the extracting of the ShrinkIt
archive in the sea file.

If that fails - you might also try changing the .sea suffix to either; SHK,
GSHK, SDK, BXY, ACU, SIT or BQY -- and then try to extract it using ShrinkIt GS
v1.1.

Cheers,
Tom
