    Since SOS and ProDOS use an identical filing system, you can
access disks (read/write/format) on one machine and make use
of it on the other. So yes, your can use your Apple II's to download
and create Apple III disks.

    Someone can use Shrink-It or Asimov for example to process
disks before sending them along to you by e-mail. I still have my
Apple III diskettes here somewhere if you need something to test
your machine (say an SOS boot disk or diagnostic software).
