That doesn't help as versions 3, 4, and 5 start that way. 
Version 3 has a cover at the rear with switches underneath, and the
adb connectors are on the sides at the rear.
Version 4 has 2 buttons and the adb connectors on the back.
Version 5 has 4 buttons 

Only version 4 will not work on an Apple II
