Ah, that brings back wonderful memories. I was looking to upgrade from
my hacked Apple II when Basis came out. I LOVED the look of the box.
The problem however was that they just didn't put enough new features
into it to justify the cost.
The Basis is one of a small number of machines I looked at other than Apple.
Another was the Exidy (spelling?) Sourceror - which had 8 track like cartridges
of software like languages, etc. that could be plugged into the system.
