do you think your various IIe's with socketed RAMs were made that way, or
possibly the result of being repaired ?
My IIe non-enhanced (when new) had and still has soldered in RAMs. Perhaps
it depends where the boards were assembled or a result of a manufacturing
change.

And I'm not counting, otherwise I'd have to count mine too :) And I'd have
to re-count weekly due to constant collecting.
