That's a pretty interesting question. (I don't know.) An ftp program does
not need fancy graphics; and, once you have an ftp connection, you can download
software from an ftp archive directly to your Apple II or IIgs.
The snag may be having a good way to connect to your local ISP-- i.e. a
"dialer" program that works practically anywhere without special arrangements,
etc..
