My Performa 600/CD worked great connected to my GS, and floppy transfers
were no problem either. But my 6400/200 and my 6500/300 were very cranky
with the PRODOS format.

OTOH, my Power Computing PowerCurve/180 seems to have no problems either.
It's the one now currently serving my GSs with it's CD drive. All my II
software is backed up on an HFS formatted CD, which the PowerCurve dishes
out when needed. Maybe Power Computing used different 1.44 drives, I have
no idea.
