This is the current maximum size. I hope to expand it to handle
larger size boards (8.5"X11") and maybe slightly bigger (I haven't
looked at the max size the plotter will do)
Is there information available for programming the Quickie Scanner,
at least how to get the image from the scanner and display it on HGR
screen? It would be nice to scan an already printed board and use it
as an "underlay" so you can use the scanned graphic as a reference
and draw your circuit out on top of it.
The overlay / underlay function is already working on the editor program
and I scanned a small schematic and it was very easy to use it
for reference!
How about a quickie OCR program that will OCR holes/pads and traces?
I have logic simulation working for AND/OR/NOT gates within the editor.
Choose "SIMULATE" and you can put input pins high/low and see what
the output will be. Next will be programmable clock signal and
Hires timing diagrams.
The drill works with a microswitch now. Move plotter to X,Y, DRILL
ON, PEN DOWN, wait for microswitch ON, PEN UP, next hole. It doesn't
eat the table, and the drill goes through nothing but the copper board,
so the drill doesn't get any extra wear on it.
