Some II+ Questions. (ProDOS etc.)

Hi,

I found out that the last version of ProDOS whose OS core runs on my
newly-acquired II+ clone is ProDOS V1.9, which I got from the Apple
FTP site and via a convoluted mess of manipulation and transfer Progs
and some emulators actually managed to get on the "Apple". However its
Utilities don't run. So what is the last version of the ProDOS
standard utilities that work with a II+?

One other thing, is it possible to put a IIe board into the II+ case?
This clone is a total rip-off,  with an orignal case sans Logo, and
with the board layout copied 1:1, built by some very small German
company and originally sold on the grey market it seems. I like the
old case better than the IIe's, that's why I ask.
