     Yes. You can usually press OpenApple(the Apple key)-Control-Escape to get
to the Classic Desk Accessories menu which includes the Control Panel as a
selection. (Some programs disable this access; but, most leave it alone.)

     The Control Panel lets you set system Speed ("Normal"= 1MHz; "Fast"=
2.8MHz), Text display colors, size of a "RAM5" RAM disk, boot Slot, and other
system startup parameters.
