Tarnover has a very good CP/M collection. Also check Asimov. For links,
see http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/A2FAQs4MAJORSITES.html .

The deprotected version of Vegas Gambler from the Apple IIgs Gaming Memory
Fairway site works fine on our ROM-01 IIgs with 4MB RAM card. This includes
booting from the game diskette (which boots a pretty old version of GS System)
as well as launching the game from the System 6.0.1 desktop-- i.e. System 6.0.1
is booted and the game is started by double-clicking on the GAMBLER.SYS16 icon
on the diskette.

A ROM 3 would not be compatible with the old version of GS System. If you
start the game under System 5.0.4 or 6.0.1 on a ROM 3, there could still be
problems if the game makes assupmtions which are not supported in ROM 3.

If newer IIgs games seem to run okay, then the glitch is probably in the
game. The game may have problems with the way ROM 3 manages memory; or, you may
have a bad copy of the game. (I do not know of any patch which is supposed to
make Vegas Gambler ROM 3 compatible.)

Going to 4MB on the Sirius might help; but, that gives up a lot of RAM
just to play one game. Otherwise, if you have an Apple SCSI interface plugged
in, I guess you could try disabling DMA access.

Regarding a test program for Sirius, it seems like Harold Hislop was
working on something like that. You may be able to get some testing software
from Tony Diaz at Alltech.
