Macro commands can be found in the UltraMacros manual. Version 3.1 (the old
Beagle Bros version for AppleWorks 3.0). That manual gave the last and best
list of macro commands that came before dot commands.

Newer  Dot commands are listed on the AppleWorks 4 disk (maybe 5 also, have not
checked). Look on the /EXTRAS disk in the subdirectory /UltraMacros. I'm not
looking at the disk right now, that is just what I recall and may not be right.
Dot command descriptions are also described in the UltraMacros 4 manual, which
is rare and hard to find.

Of course there are many other dot commands that were added later - all are 
available from TEXAS II. Consult your TEXAS II disks and newsletters for lists
of commands, explanations, and sample files of all of them, including the
original UltraMacros 4 ones. I keep my own technical reference manual in a
notebook, most of which has been published on TEXAS II disks.

There are also two very good books by Will Nelken, which would give some
explanations. They may be available on disk now - freely. I don't know. I have
the two printed books, and would be willing to part with them if anyone is
interested.

Maybe it would be better just to ask "How do I....?" and then someone will
answer you. No sense scrounging around in all of the resources when you could
get an answer immediately.
