One of my recent finds is a ][+ with the following curiousity: under slot 0,
the 74LS138 chip has been replaced with a red block and wires leading to a
toggle switch at the rear of the machine. It appears as though the block
contains another TTL chip, but it is impossible to tell what the chip is
through the 2mm hole. Does anybody know what this switch does?
There was also a Macrotech Mem-1 board in this machine. It looks like a 16kB
expansion board, and is sitting in slot 0.
