The best deal I've found on protoboards for building the TDX is the 9003
PB from Marlin P. Jones. It's a good size and costs $7.95. (See proto board
page at http://www.mpja.com/list.asp?dept=58 .) The 9003 PB is 4.25" high;
so, you will need to saw off an inch or so from the top.
The card has PC XT connector contacts; which means you will need to
slice off some in order to get to the 50 contacts (25 per side) Apple uses.
(A Dremel tool with a sand wheel is good for this sort of slicing.) Use a
real A2 board to determine pin centering and as a guide to deciding what to
slice off for a good fit in an Apple II Slot.
