Yes and yes.

Now that Marinetti is Open Source, hopefully some bug fixes will be
forthcoming.

I've sometimes found that after using Spectrum and one of its add-ons
(like SIS or SAM or SOAR), that if I open up the Marinetti Control Panel
to manually disconnect, my system will sometimes crash. The (work-around)
solution, of course, is kind of like that old joke:

Patient: "But doctor, it only crashes when I disconnect using the
Marinetti Control Panel's disconnect function."

Doctor: "Then don't use Marinetti's disconnect function."

Seriously, there seems to be a bug in Marinetti that can be avoided
completely by disconnecting directly through Spectrum. IOW, let Spectrum
communicate directly with Marinetti to disconnect, rather than opening
the Marinetti Control Panel to disconnect, and all should be fine.
