what Kim said...
I enjoyed using the chat rooms, getting a word in edgeways was sometimes a
bit hard when the conversation was heading in all directions, like a runaway
car. But I found the members very friendly and willing to help when you
finally got to put your hand up.
With more members I would hope to get into a different chat room, as one
room gets a little crowded with 10+ Apple geeks. Co-ersing one out into a
different chat room will probably be difficult. Like dragging a dog away
from it's food !!! :)
I found the Bullitin Board a little slow to wade through. I was a little
spoiled with using Delphi's web interface though, so I had to drag myself
back to the retro-A2-level. I understand there is or will be a web interface
for those BBs for us lazy 20th centurions.
The library wasn't up when I was 'trialing' the service, however that would
be an area that would attract me back, especially as it's difficult to get
into the chat rooms which coincide with my daytime work hours in Australia.
BTW I will be joining A2.Central later this year for a 2 - 3 month period
while I'm on Long Service Leave. Thereafter it will be only during my annual
holidays due to reasons stated.
