Odd request for partitioning help (Mac LC 580, internal IDE HD, Apple IIe card)
I have a dilemma.
I have the Apple IIe card for the LC. It has the ability to use Apple HD SC
Setup to create a ProDOS partition (for use by the Apple IIe) on your LC's
SCSI hard drive.
Oops. The LC 580 doesn't have a SCSI hard drive. It's IDE.
Short of purchasing an external SCSI hard drive, does anyone know of a way
of doing the same thing Apple HD SC Setup does on an IDE drive? (Obviously
Drive Setup will work with the IDE drive, but it doesn't allow any sort of
partitioning, unless someone knows about an easter egg I'm not familiar
with. ;) What tools, if any, are available that will permit me to create a
ProDOS partition on the LC 580's internal IDE hard drive?
If anyone can help, I will be very, very thankful...
