I don't remember anyone back then being too worried about whether or not he
was copying software. There were a lot of people ticked off at him
because he was (allegedly) sector editing demos, games, and cracks, to
make it look like A) he was the person responsible for the
demo/game/crack or B) he was good friends with the person responsible.

In other words, the main concern back then as far as I remember it was
not that livelihoods were being threatened, but that reputations were
being threatened.>>

(A) The entire matters started when somebody uploaded a beta copy of Spectrum
to all 
the Apple II BBS's.  It had the name 'Dr. Tom' as the beta tester it was issued
to.
Earl Childrers (President of Seven Hills software) sent me the Spectrum beta
disk by US Mail with that name 'Dr. Tom' coded into the program.  Earl can and
will
verify the truth of that - if anybody has the functional and mental ability to
contact Earl
about this.

(B) I NEVER uploaded ANYTHING to ANY Apple II BBS -- nor did I ever supply such
for any
others to so with.  As I've stated from 1993 to date (and will forever state) 
the ignorant
masses that claim I sector edited my name into anything and made it available
to the
public -- are a bunch of misinformed and misguided morons - that listen to
public and/or 
private gossip and accept it as truth and reality.

Think whatever you will about me at this point and time.  I could really care
less.
