I am shocked and discouraged by those who "pour salt on slugs" and watch the
creatures writhe in their final agony. Where are the members of the ASPCM?
(American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Mollusks) You all shoul
be ashamed of yourselves. Fireflies live on slugs; are we to tolerate a famine
among the firefly population just because some humans like to torture slugs?
