CMS Hard drive question

I have a CMS HD that came with a GS I bought. What I want to do is to wipe it
clean and then use the Hard Drive as a place to store my big Apple Works files.
In other words I would like have it as another drive. What software would I
need to do this? Is this a difficult process. Thanks .
