One thing that may help is to make sure you power-On the CD-ROM drive
before you turn On the computer.
Jon's mention of termination brings up something else to check. The
CD-150 probably expects the SCSI interface to supply Termination Power. Your
Apple Hi Speed SCSI card may not have the mod to supply Term Power. See info
about this at http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2HDNSCSI.html#018 .
Also, check your CD-150's SCSI ID#. It needs to be different from ID's
for any other devices on the SCSI chain. Some middle number (3-5) is usually
a good pick for a CD-ROM drive. (You would not want to have it set to 7
because that is typically the ID used by the Apple HSS interface card.)
