Not at all with DOS 3.3. The boot process for SOS is basically the same as for ProDOS,
so once the machine can't find the proper ".sys" file, it's done. I'm sure you do
realize that ProDOS and SOS have basically the same file system, and can read one
another's disks? In fact, once you get 3 Eazy Pieces, you will be able to exchange
files with AppleWorks below a certain version (I think anything under version 3.0 will
work, but it's been a while - I'll double check on my answers) 3 Eazy Pieces IS
AppleWorks, but made for a roomier 256K machine.

I'll have to ask some help on that one, but there is one fellow in our local user group
who has taught me the little I do know about ///s (it isn't his fault that I haven't
learned more).

The Washington Apple Pi user group still has a /// sig with lots of disks that you can
buy from them. Also, Sun Remarketing still sells /// software (and sometimes hardware).
Of course eBay has some /// stuff, but the bidding there is much hotter than for ][
stuff.
